Beethoven Violin Festival April 12, 14 and 15

Beethoven portraitWith each live concert, we recreate history through the hands of our gifted artists. We invite you into the world of Ludwig van Beethoven when violinist Steven Moeckel and pianist Paula Fan perform all ten sonatas for violin and piano this week. Seven sonatas are performed at the home of Mille Leenhouts – please note venue change.

Steven Moeckel portraitThursday, April 12 @ 6pm Sonatas Nos. 2, 3, 4 & 8 are performed. Hors d’ ouevres and wine will be served. $50/person, 8 seats remain
Saturday, April 14 @ 3pm Sonatas Nos. 5, 6 & 7 are performed. A “Chocolate and Champagne Meet the Artist Reception” follows.
$40/person, there are still a few seats remaining.
Sunday, April 15 @ 2:30pm Sonatas Nos. 1, 9 and 10 are performed at St. John Vianney Church.
$40/person reserved, $25/person general admission.
Don’t miss the pre-concert lecture by Dr. Michael Bradburn-Ruster who served as a copyist in London for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, under musicologist Christopher Palmer, conductor Charles Gerhardt, and composers Miklós Rózsa and Elmer Bernstein.
